The Yamawaro Vanguard is a Pre-Hardmode enemy which may spawn in Jungle biomes, especially on or near the surface. She will approach the player while periodically shooting salvos of bullets using a Thorn; the projectiles of this weapon slightly home in on targets.

Yamawaro Scouts drop either two or three Point Items and one piece of Broken Yamawaro Technology, a material used to craft Yamawaro weapons. They also occasionally drop a small amount of Silva Charge ammunition or their helmet.
