The UFO Staff is a Hardmode summon weapon that summons a UFO which follows the player and attacks enemies. These UFOs will cycle through three colors (red, blue and green) and will change their attack patterns depending on their current color.

• Red: release fireballs that home in on nearby targets and inflict Hellfire on hit
• Blue: rapidly fire blue lasers that pierce up to three enemies
• Green: move above a target and shoot a green beam downwards, with this beam being capable of piercing an infinite number of enemies

Like other minions, the UFOs are invincible and follows the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, exits the world, summons a replacement minion or cancels the buff. They take up one minion slot.

The UFO Staff is available for purchase at the Curio Trader after defeating the Moon Lord or any of the Tier 7 Bosses.
