The Sword of Hisou is a Hardmode Melee Weapon. It shoots rings of fire that slowly move forward for some time, ignoring tiles and hitting an unlimited number of enemies, albeit with the damage being reduced by 5% with each hit, down to 50%. Enemies hit by the rings are afflicted with the Hellfire debuff. Furthermore, enemies that are hit have a chance to release Spirit Energy, which will linger for some seconds before dissipating. This energy can be collected by players, granting a buff that increases armor penetration by 5 for 6 seconds. This buff can be stacked up to ten times, for a total armor penetration of 50.

The weapon's alternate fire shoots an extremely powerful beam that lasts for 5 seconds with a massive base mana cost of 150.
