The Skull Flail is a Pre-Hardmode flail. When the skull collides with tiles at a sufficient velocity, two or three bones will be launched from the impact location, each dealing half the damage and knockback of the flail itself.

A very poor demonstration of how to use a flail. Note the bones being shot off the walls.
