The Sand Fairy is a Pre-Hardmode fairy which spawns in the desert and the underground desert. While approaching the player, they will regularly come to a stop and generate a small sandstorm, from which small sand projectiles are then emitted in random directions.

Sand Fairies drop one or two Point Items and a few blocks of sand on death. In addition, they have a 33% chance of dropping a Waterleaf.
