The Red Chain of Fate is a Hardmode magic weapon. It fires a red chain that connects the player to an enemy. Once connected, whenever the player receives damage, the connected enemy will take five times this amount of damage. This damage multiplier can be further boosted by magic damage bonus. The chain will automatically break after a few moments, though it can be broken prematurely by going too far from an enemy, indicated by the chain shattering given enough distance.

The Red Chain of Fate is available for purchase at the Curio Trader after defeating any Tier 6 Bosses.
