The Purification Fan is a Hardmode, endgame magic weapon. It creates a purification wave that deals massive damage to all enemies within 50 tiles of the player (with the exception of mechanical enemies, which are free of impurity). In addition, every other living thing in the vicinity - such as trees and grass - will also be destroyed.

Its alternate fire mode instead creates a cleansing wave that ignores enemies and instead converts Crimson, Corruption and Hallow back to Purity. The alternate fire mode has a cooldown of 20 seconds and a base mana cost of 100.

The Purification Fan is available for purchase at the Curio Trader after defeating the Moon Lord or any of the Tier 7 Bosses.

• This weapon is a reference to the fan wielded by Watatsuki no Toyohime in Silent Sinner in Blue.
