The Persuasion Needles are a Hardmode ranged weapon that requires no ammunition. It shoots a salvo of four needles which will stick to enemies for three seconds, causing additional damage over time during this duration.

Against youkai enemies, the impact damage (but not the damage over time) is increased by 20%.

The Persuasion Needles are available for purchase at the Curio Trader after defeating any Tier 5 Boss.

Notes

• The Persuasion Needles are considered an arrow-type weapon by the Shroomite armor.

Trivia

• Much like the Hakurei Purification Rod, the Persuasion Needles reference a weapon wielded by Reimu Hakurei, though in this case, it's a barrage of throwing needles which typically serves as one of Reimu's shot types in the mainline Touhou games.
