The Kappa Optical Camouflage Device is a Hardmode accessory.

It combines the swimming effect of the Flippers with the stealth effect of the Shroomite Armor. As with the Shroomite Armor, standing still causes the player to gradually become invisible over the course of 1.5 seconds. This makes enemies less likely to target the player, and provides a buff to weapon damage, knockback and critical strike chance.
