The Doll Staff is a Hardmode summon weapon that summons a pair of dolls - one Caster Doll and one Lancer Doll, which follow the player and attack enemies. The Lancer Doll dashes towards enemies to attack, dealing the full listed damage, whereas the Caster Doll periodically unleashes a barrage of seven magic bullets which each deal half the listed damage.

Like other minions, both Dolls are invincible and follow the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, exits the world, summons a replacement minion or cancels the buff. Each pair of dolls only takes one minion slot, similarly to the twins summoned by the Optic Staff.
