The Cursed Blood Syringe is a Hardmode ranged weapon that requires no ammunition. It throws a syringe that afflicts enemies with the Cursed Blood debuff, reducing defense by 10 and inflicting additional damage over time.

Its alternate fire instead injects the player with the cursed blood, granting the Cursed Blood Injection buff that increases all damage dealt by 10% and causing the player to emit sprays of cursed blood in random directions (which also inflict the Cursed Blood debuff). However, during the duration of the buff, the player's defense is reduced by 10 and they will take damage over time. The cooldown of this alternate fire is 20 seconds; however, it starts counting down directly after applying the Cursed Blood Injection buff, which lasts 10 seconds. Thus, if the weapon is used directly after the cooldown ends, the period without the buff is only 10 seconds.
