The Crystal Shard Mortar is a Hardmode ranged weapon that uses Crystal Clusters as ammunition. It fires mortar shells which split up into 9 to 12 crystal shards after a short delay, but only while moving downwards. The crystal shards in turn bounce off of blocks one time before being destroyed on colliding with a block for the second time.

Notes

The Crystal Shard Mortar is considered a rocket-type weapon by the Shroomite armor.
