The Crown Prince's Scepter is a Hardmode melee weapon. When swung, it creates a golden portal that emits five rays of light, which penetrate one enemy before dispersing. However, the portal can only be cast once per second.

Its alternate attack causes seven golden swords to rain down on the targeted location. The swords pass through blocks until they reach the height that was targeted, making them useful even underground. The cooldown of the alternate attack is 4 seconds.
