Leveling and EXP (Final Fantasy Distant Memories)
General Info
Your player character has an EXP bar and a Level. This is unique per character, independent of the world you are in. However, the world you are in controls the current level cap. All new characters start at Level 1. Defeating any enemy in game will award EXP, based on the enemy's health. The formula for EXP given is as follows:
- For a normal enemy, you gain Max Health / 10 as EXP. (Ex. An enemy with 240 HP gives 24 EXP)
- For a boss, the first time you defeat any boss, you gain Max Health / 2 as EXP.
- Any subsequent defeat of a boss will yield Max Health / 5 as EXP.
- For a Cactuar you gain 50 EXP.
- For a Jumbotuar you gain 200 EXP.
- For a Gigantuar you gain 1000 EXP.
Level Cap
The level cap is determined by what Terraria bosses you have defeated. All worlds start with an initial level cap of 10. The maximum level cap is 99.
The level cap increases are as follows:
- Defeat Eye of Cthulhu: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Brain of Cthulhu OR Eater of Worlds: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Skeletron: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Wall of Flesh: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Skeletron Prime, The Destroyer, or The Twins: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Plantera: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Golem: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Lunatic Cultist: Cap increased by 10 levels
- Defeat Moon Lord: Cap increased by 9 levels
Configs
The Mod contains two configs. You can turn off the EXP Bar. You will still gain EXP and Level Up as normal. You can disable the Level Up text and sound.
Fun Fact
If you level up while riding a Chocobo, you hear a WARK noise instead of the level up sound.
