Petri Dish is a pet-summoning item which summons a pet Slime that follows you around. Petri Dish is dropped from Flesh Slime with a 1/25 chance, Shadow Slime with a 1/20 chance, and Toxic Sludge with a 1/150 chance.

The Pet Slime in Consolaria adopts the color of the player's shirt color, similar to the Pet Bunny from the Carrot; except in some of the secret world seeds, namely drunk, for the worthy, celebrationmk10, and get fixed boi, where it is instead constantly cycling through colors like a Rainbow Brick.

Notes

• The Pet Slime will fly, pass through walls, and teleport to keep up with the player if the player travels too far away.
• It will slide along the ground instead of "bouncing" like normal slimes.
• It deals no damage, unlike the slime minion.
• The Pet Slime is seemingly illuminous in appearance, yet does not emit any light.

Trivia

• The Pet Slime resembles a gray slime, even though the Petri Dish is dropped by Shadow Slimes, Flesh Slimes and Toxic Sludges.
