The Jelly Priestess is a Town NPC vendor that sells a variety of tiles.
The Jelly Priestess will spawn when the following condition has been met:
The Bound Jelly Priestess can be found anywhere in the Sulphurous Sea. Interacting with her will free her, after which she will attempt to move into a vacant house if available.
When threatened by enemies, she will defend herself by firing an Ink Shot that can pierce through 2 enemies.

- The Bestiary entry for the Jelly Priestess: "A jellyfish that took an odd evolutionary turn. Her affinity for building synergizes with her devotion to a forgotten goddess."
- Several of the Jelly Priestess' names are based on real life jellyfish:
- The name "Manawa" is based on a jellyfish-like organism known as the Portuguese man o' war.
- The name "Kanji" is based on a jellyfish known as the Irukandji.
- The name "Cuboza" is a morphed version of the word cube, which is a word used to describe the Box Jellyfish.
- Several of the Jelly Priestess' names are also references to characters in other media who resemble cephalopods or jellyfish:
- The name "Eika" is a reference to a character of the same name from the Touhou Project series, whose design is based on jellyfish.
- The name "Mariacala" is a reference to the character Cala Maria from Cuphead.
- The name "Crasqua" is a reference to the Crabsquids from Subnautica.
- The name "Nidaria" is a reference to a jellyfish monster of the same name from the mobile game Monster Legends.
- The name "Ooma" is a reference to an infamous jellyfish enemy of the same name from the game Hollow Knight.
- The name "Feferi" is a reference to the character Feferi Peixes from Homestuck, a webcomic by Andrew Hussie.
- The name "Signathia" is a reference to a suggestion to rename Cnidrion to Signathion, due to Cnidrion being derived from Nidaria which is the scientific family for jellyfish and not for sea horses who are classified as Sygnathidae.
- The quote "That's a pretty dress! I know someone who was working on a similar one, but it took so long that they gave up." is a reference to the Cirrus' Dress being planned in Calamity's Vanities but never being completed, eventually being added in Calamity.
- Jelly Priestess was originally designed as apart of a NPC design contest on the Mod's Discord server, being submitted by Lucca. The contest was the 2nd ever contest held on the server.
