The Mask of the Idol is a Hardmode minion weapon, it summons a Golem head above the player that shoots lasers and fireballs at enemies. The Golem Mask has a 1/100 chance to spawn with its placeholder sprite that was used during development.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Mask of the Idol has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
