The Drake Crystal is a Pre-Hardmode minion weapon that can be obtained by feeding a sleeping Ice Drake Juvenile, it summons a tame Juvenile Ice Drake to fight for you.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Drake Crystal has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

Trivia

• The tooltip is a reference to an earlier version of the mod, in that version, the Ice Drake Juvenile enemy would appear out of nowhere at full speed, dealing over a hundred damage in one hit.
