The Darkling is an enemy that spawns in the Dungeon and also anywhere on the surface at night after Smiley has been defeated. They curiously approach the player and stop moving if they get too close. If they take damage in any way, they become hostile and attack by shooting void bolts at the player.
Trivia
- The Darkling design is based on Dark Matter from the Kirby series.
- This was the first enemy added to the mod.
