The First Seed is a Hardmode Trinket dropped by Plantera with a 5*1/20 (5%) chance (100% in Expert Mode). When equipped, it gives the player the Dryad's Blessing buff and if the player has the Mom's Box equipped, it will summon a Dryad's Ward that surrounds the player and gives town npcs the Dryad's Blessing buff and enemies the Dryad's Bane debuff. It is used to craft the Gaia's Grace.
