The Ragged Aspis is a Pre-Hardmode Accessory dropped by the Hoplite with a 10*1/10 (10%) chance (20*1/5 (20%) in Expert Mode). When equipped, it grants the player 15% increased damage reduction from the front, and give the player 1 extra defense, and two more if the player is wearing the Gladiator armor. It is used to craft the Riot Shield.
