Clubs are Melee Weapons that acts more like True melee swords, but with a few new mechanics attached to them that makes them stand out, those being the Slam, Strike, and Berserk Mechanics. There are currently 7 bats in the game, along with a single Trinket that is tailored to said subclass.

Mechanics

Slam

All Clubs have this ability by default. It is activated upon hitting an enemy. Each clubs has their own slam ability.

Strike

Most Clubs have the ability to throw baseball-type ammos. These ammos are needed to activate their strike ability (with a few exceptions).

Upon throwing a baseball, the player must hit the ball before it touches any solid terrain. If they successfully hit the ball using said bat, it will launch the ball to the cursor's direction, along with granting the player the Home Run Buff, which increases Movement speed, Wing time, and Jump Height by 20%. If unsuccessful however, the player is penalized with 10 seconds of Ball Miss debuff, which disallows the player from throwing another ball until the timer is up.

Berserk

All clubs has this mechanic. Every hits on an enemy fills the meter until it's full. Once it fills, it becomes empty again, and the player now turns red, as indicated by a sound effect. During this time, the ball-throwing ability will no longer be usable, but in exchange, slightly heals the player and refills the berserk meter for every enemies they defeat. Additionally, it increases the weapon's dmg by 150%, Melee speed by 50%, and +10 crit chance. This usually lasts for 10 seconds before the effect wears off.

Slam Ability: Has a 5% chance to fire off any non-boss flying enemy to the cursor's direction. Any non-boss enemy that gets in the way of said fired enemy will take the highest contact damage of the 2 + 20% additional damage to the struck enemy. Boss enemy will instead lose 4 defense + gets the Bleeding Debuff.


BERSERK: Additionally, it has a chance to make non-boss enemy dizzy, and increases the slam ability chance to 100%.

Slam Ability: Has a 20% chance to fire off bloody waves that pierces multiple enemies. Any enemy killed by said wave has a 50% chance to drop bloody heart that lingers for a short time.


Strike Ability: Upon hitting an enemy, it will create red slash, along with reducing their defense by 4, and inflicting the Bleeding Debuff to said enemy.
BERSERK: Grants the player the Rage Buff, along with guaranteed crits to any enemy with full health. Any crits to an enemy will create red slash, and killing any enemy will create bloody infernoes.

Right Click will throw the club instead

Slam Ability: Enemy hit has a chance to be a BONK hit. This makes the enemy dizzy and fires off blood to the mouse direction


Strike Ability: Transforms soft ball into titanium ball, which can make enemies seriously bleed. Additionally, said ball has guaranteed BONK and crits, and can inflict Dizzy to a non-boss enemy.
BERSERK: Slam attack may cause serious bleeding to any non-boss enemy. Additionally, Slam ability's chance becomes 20%

Slam Ability: Enemy hit has a chance to fire holy wave, which can pierce multiple enemies. Said wave can inflict Angelic flames


Strike Ability: Transforms soft ball into purification ball, which can make the first enemy it hits create an enlightened aura. Other hits will create a pillar of angelic flames
BERSERK: Slam attack kills may either grant Holy Protection buff, or rapid healing for a short time

Slam Ability: Enemy hit has a chance to inflict Electrified, and also has a small chance to inflict Kizuna's Attraction, which makes other enemy gravitate towards the inflicted enemy. Any enemy touching said inflicted enemy will lose health, with the DoT area being greater the more enemy is in the area at the time


Strike Ability: Overcharges every ball type, which will then discharge into 5 blue lightning bolts going outwards (red if the ball hits an enemy). These balls will attract weaker hostile projectiles to itself while travelling
BERSERK: Slam attack has a greater chance of inflicting Kizuna's Attraction

Can be turned into a Trinket via RC.
Also functions as a farming scythe

Slam Ability: Enemy hit has a chance to be further knocked back, which upon hitting another enemy, it will make them take the damage of the 2 by 200%, while the struck enemy takes even more damage


Charge Ability: Next slam strike gains the ability to reflect projectiles. It can only reflect the projectiles with less damage than the weapon itself, and will do 200% of the weapon's base damage
BERSERK: Charge time is greatly lowered, and increased slam ability chance
