The The Everlasting Pickaxe is a craftable 
Spatial celestial weapon that is made obtainable after The Warrior Of Light has been defeated.
Its best modifier is Legendary. While Light may seem to provide a better speed boost by percentages, rounding reveals that Legendary and Light mine at equal speeds for this tool.
In Game Description
This weapon has a unique damage type; inherits bonuses from all damage classes .
Right click to place a dusting of Everlasting Gunpowder on yourself, which lasts for 6 seconds (20 second cooldown).
Swinging the pickaxe near the Everlasting Gunpowder causes consecutive explosions towards your cursor, destroying tiles.
Press the Weapon Action Key to load Everlasting Gunpowder into the pickaxe.
When Everlasting Gunpowder is loaded, mining is disabled but attacking capabilities are extended and damage is increased by 80%.
Attacks swing in an alternating arc, firing a portion of Everlasting Gunpowder towards the cursor (4 second cooldown).
Once the Everlasting Gunpowder makes contact with an enemy, it will detonate multiple times before disappearing.
If the Everlasting Gunpowder lands on a tile, it will explode once and then disappear.
Pressing the Weapon Action Key when Everlasting Gunpowder is loaded will revert to the original state.
