The Broken Glass Sword is a pre-hardmode shortsword obtained when a Glass Sword breaks.

It functions as a pre-1.4 shortsword, being only able to stab directly left or right, but it can be re-crafted into a Glass Sword with more Glass and Gel by hand.

Notes

  • The weapon cannot receive any modifiers.
  • No matter how many times the weapon hits an enemy, it will never further break.

Trivia

  • It is the only broken glass themed item in the mod that can still be used as a weapon.
  • It is the only weapon in the mod to have Rarity level: -1 as the base rarity and no sell value.
