The Venomous Spiderpoon is a Hardmode ranged weapon found in the Dungeon's Spider Grotto Chest, which can be opened with the Spider Grotto Key after Plantera has been defeated. When used, it shoots out a fast Venom Harpoon that can pierce through solid tiles. If the Harpoon hits a non-boss enemy, it will pull them close to the player, firing a spread of 5 Venom Spit projectiles afterwards. Both the Venom Harpoon and Venom Spit inflict the Acid Venom debuff on hit.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Notes

• If the harpooned target dies, the Spiderpoon will still fire a spread of Venom Spit upon returning to the player.

    • No longer fires a spread of web harpoons in a horizontal direction.
    • Now fires a single Venom Harpoon and can now be aimed in any direction. If the Harpoon catches an enemy, it will now fire a spread of Venom Spit at them after returning.
