The Staff of the Weaver is a pre-Hardmode summon weapon dropped by yellow Orb Weavers. When used, it summons an Orb Weaver sentry that launches 5 arcing Weaver Spikes in an even spread whenever an enemy is close.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Staff of the Weaver has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
