Rotten Gourd armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Moldy Chunks and Old Wood.

It consists of Rotten Gourd Head, Rotten Gourd Breastplate, and Rotten Gourd Leggings.

The full set grants the following stats and bonuses (this includes the set bonus):

• 12 defense
• 5% increased melee damage
• 5% increased melee critical strike chance
• 5% increased melee speed.
• Melee weapons have a 12.5*1/8 (12.5%) chance to inflict the Rotting debuff for 10-19.98 seconds on hit, which deals 2.5 damage per second. Additionally, if the target is not considered a boss and the debuff has lasted for longer than half of its original duration, the target will lose 20% damage and defense.
