Root armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Root Blocks.

It consists of Root Mask, Root Body Plate, and Root Garments.

The full set grants the following stats and bonuses (this includes the set bonus):

• 7 defense
• 12% increased ranged damage
• 5% increased ranged critical strike chance
• Ranged projectiles have a 20*1/5 (20%) to heal the player for 50% of damage dealt, up to a maximum of 12 life. The heal can only occur once every 5 seconds.
