The Moocher Staff is a craftable Hardmode wand that serves as a Sentient variant of the Clinger Staff. When used, it summons a short-lived Cursed Pillar on the ground beneath the cursor that inflicts the Cursed Inferno debuff to hit enemies.

Its best modifier is Demonic for damage output, or Mystic for mana conservation because it cannot get modifiers that affect knockback.
