The Snot-Nosed Tome is a Hardmode spell tome that can be dropped by gray Tarantula Hawks. Holding the attack button will conjure Large Flies, up to a maximum of 10. Flies ignore tiles, follow the cursor, and can pierce infinitely. Releasing the attack button while at the maximum amount of Large Flies will cause them to spread out, homing in on nearby enemies, and will make them unable to pierce enemies.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
