Gilded Mage armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Gold/Platinum Bars, Silk, and Spooky Glowshrooms.

It consists of Gilded Mage Tunic and Gilded Mage Robe, as well as two different headpieces: Gilded Wizard Hat and Gilded Magician Hat

The Gilded Mage Tunic provides 4 defense and 10% increased magic damage.

The Gilded Mage Robe provides 3 defense and increases maximum mana by 20.

• The Gilded Wizard Hat provides 2 defense and 5% increased magic critical strike chance.
  Its set bonus grants 2% increased magic damage for each Gold Coin the player has in the inventory, up to a maximum increase of 20%.

• The Gilded Magician Hat provides 2 defense and 5% increased magic damage.
  Its set bonus grants 2% decreased mana usage for each Gold Coin the player has in their inventory, up to a maximum decrease of 20%.

A full set always provides at least 9 defense, 10% increased magic damage, and +20 maximum mana.
