The Crusty Gunfish is a craftable Hardmode gun. It converts all bullets into Mud Splatter, shooting a spread of 5 projectiles while consuming 1 ammo. Mud Splatters ignore tiles and cannot pierce enemies. Every 5th use will instead throw the Gunfish in the cursor's direction in a manner akin to a boomerang. While flying, the Gunfish will spin and fire 3 Mud Splatters per bullet every 5 frames until it returns to the player.
Its best modifier is Unreal.
