The Cornering Corn Staff is a Hardmode summon weapon dropped by Pop Corners. When used, it summons a Corn sentry that launches harmless arcing Corn Kernels at nearby enemies. Kernels transform into damaging Popcorn after 0.17 seconds, which can bounce off tiles or enemies and disappear after 5 seconds.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Cornering Corn Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
