The Cat O' Nine Tails is a pre-Hardmode whip that can be found inside Pumpkin Chests within Creepy Catacombs or inside Bone Crates. Like other whips, it causes minions and sentries to focus on the last-struck enemy. When used, it swings out 4 lashes at the same time. If a lash hits multiple targets in a single attack, its damage will be reduced by 20% with each consecutive hit.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
