Blooms (Spooky Mod)

Blooms are a type of plants added by the Spooky Mod. The majority of them do not occur naturally and instead need to be grown by the player using special bloom seeds, which can only be planted on Bloom Soil. Most planted seeds can sprout into different types of blooms, which will become visible only when the bloom is fully grown. Breaking a fully grown bloom plant will drop its bloom and the seed used to plant it. Having Watering Gourd's effect active grants a 14.29*1/7 (14.29%) chance to receive an additional bloom and a seed from breaking a fully grown plant.
Eating blooms grants their effect for a certain period of time, displayed in a separate buff window. Initially, only 2 bloom effects can be active at a time, however, the limit can be increased up to 4 over the course of the game. Eating multiple blooms of the same type will not stack their effects, unless specified, but will stack their duration, up to a maximum of 20 minutes.
Plants
Blooms grow into their next stages whenever random tile update chooses the bloom tile and a 5*1/20 (5%) chance check is successful. If the player has Sunny Side Up's effect active, the chance is increased to 8.33*1/12 (8.33%). The Bonemeal accessory grants a 0.086*3/3500 (0.086%) chance per frame (5.14*9/175 (5.14%) per second) to instantly progress a random bloom within 20 tiles of the player into its next growth stage. The type of resulting bloom is randomly determined when the seed is first planted, with each bloom having an equal chance of appearing.
