The Avian's Crux is a craftable Hardmode summon weapon that serves as a Sentient variant of the Raven Staff. When used, it summons a Billy Bone minion that can perform multiple attacks. Billy Bone takes up 3 minion slots and only 1 can exist at a time. Billy Bone will alternate between its attacks in the following order:

• Hovers above the target and produces a total of 10 homing Billy Feathers.

• Dashes diagonally at the target 3 times.

• Conjures 3 Phantom Portals that each spawn 1 Billy Phantom. Billy Phantoms peroform 2 horizontal dashes at the target before disappearing, leaving homing Billy Feathers in their path. Phantoms deal 50% of base damage and their Feathers deal 25% of base damage.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Avian's Crux has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
