Slayer Mode (Shards of Atheria)

Slayer Mode: This content is exclusive to Shards of Atheria's Slayer Mode.

Slayer Mode is a new mode in Terraria. It is activated by using a Necronomicon that the player gets when creating a new character. While Slayer Mode is enabled, the following effects take place:

• Defeated bosses will be unable to be summoned again.
• Defeated bosses will also drop every item in their loot table, a Slayer Item and a Soul Crystal.
• The Atherian will refuse to upgrade items.

Notes

• The process of dropping boss loot is manual, so modded items will not be included.
• Only one trophy and one relic will be dropped from bosses.

Soul Crystals

Each boss, when slain, will drop one Soul Crystal. These are absorbed by holding the ⚒ Use / Attack button for 5 seconds. If the player has more than 6 Soul Crystals absorbed, they will be inflicted with Shards of Atheria/MadnessMadness.
