Wormhole (Secrets Of The Shadows)
The Wormhole is an Anomaly that spawns in a random place across the world. Two will spawn each Anomaly Tick. Their positions can be revealed on the minimap by using the Anomaly Locator/Interceptor.
Before completing all Vespera Gem Locks inside the Gemstone Structures, the Wormhole cannot be interacted with, and trying to get close to it with push the player away. The Wormhole has seven colored rings, with each ring corresponding to a specific Vespera Gem Lock. When a Gem Lock is opened, its ring will disappear and the Wormhole will expand by one stage.
Rift Cookies can be used to force the Wormholes to shift their position. Placing and activating Light Statues will force the Wormholes to spawn directly above them.

Wormhole Teleportation
Wormholes can teleport any players, items, enemies, or NPCs that go into them. Teleported players will be afflicted with the Skipped debuff for 5 seconds, which grants immunity to fall damage. After teleporting, both Wormholes will shrink and become inactive for 20 seconds, slowly growing back to their original size.
Wormholes will not attarct or teleport Ultracaps and Planetoids and will not attract entities that ignore gravity.
Wormhole Conversion
Certain items will be converted to new ones when thrown into a Wormhole:
The Void Anomaly and Voidmage Incubator accessories allow access to Wormhole Conversion recipes from anywhere without the need to visit Wormholes. Creating Void Anomaly will close the Wormhole until the next Anomaly Tick.
Dropping the Wishing Star into a Wormhole will reroll the player's Vision Number. This effect will not occur when crafting with Void Anomaly/Voidmage Incubator. Note that the Wishing Star turns into Shattered Dreams at certain values of Vision Number, losing its reroll ability.
