The Subspace Worm is a critter that spawns in the Sanctuary. If the player stays close to it for at least 1 second, Subspace Worm will jump into the air and disappear into a Treasure Star Portal (Secrets Of The Shadows).pngportal. It can be caught with any Bug Net and used as fishing bait. Using Subspace Worms as bait allows the player to catch Obsidian/Hellstone Crates in any liquid.
