Evolution Phases (Scape and Run Parasites)
Evolution Phases are a core mechanic added by the mod, they determine the spawning of Parasites, as well as the functioning of most other systems in the mod. Parasites Evolve based on their Gaining of Evolution points through various methods. Every time their phase increases a 20-minute[1] cooldown is placed where Parasites can neither gain, nor loose points.
Gaining Points
Parasites gain points through a variety of methods, these represent their grip on the world increasing, points gained vary per source.
- Parasites gain 3 points when a
Buglin Evolves. - Whenever
Call of the Hive increases to Amp 3, 15 points are added. - Parasites gain 5 points every time they kill something.
- Parasites gain 24 points whenever moving flesh merges into a Primitive Parasite.
- Parasites gain 32 points for each block they Infest.
- Parasites gain points over time while time is fast forwarding due to players sleeping.

Losing Points
The main way for Parasites to lose points is by using a Carcass, after the Carcass Interceptors are defeated, each surviving Lure will subtract its point value from the total, indicated by a bio-lightning strike.
Phase -2
Starts at any value below -400 Points
- Parasites cannot spawn or gain points; Parasites are effectively disabled.
Phase -1
Starts at -400 Points No Parasites will spawn
- Phase 0 triggers automatically after a 3 day grace period, only happens once
Phase 0
Starts at 0 Points, Points cannot drop below 0 without use of commands

Starts at 400 Points
Rupters spawn naturally
Phase 2
Starts at 800 Points
- Rupters become aggressive by default
- Assimilated Mobs Spawn Naturally
Phase 3
Starts at 1800 Points
- Hijacked Mobs spawn naturally.
Assimilated Endermen Spawn Naturally- Reinforcement System activated

Starts at 20k Points
