The Touch of Death is a craftable Hardmode Guardian gauntlets. Parrying an attack with it will give you a Toxic Punches buff that makes the weapon shoot toxic fangs that inflict the Venom debuff for 8 seconds.
Holding left-click will charge the punch; the weapon will do a quarter of the base damage if not fully charged, by default taking 3 seconds to fully charge. Once charged, the player's punch will do the base damage. It can also use a slam charge to use the heightened attack instead of having to wait.
Right-clicking will consume a guard to enter a parry state for 1 second, blocking the next instance of damage they would take otherwise. Successfully parrying will restore and 1 slam charge. In addition, any attacker will take full damage on a succesful parry.
Its best modifier is Empyrean.
