The Mythril Greathelm is a craftable Hardmode Guardian armor piece. It is equipped in the helmet slot, and serves as an alternative helmet for Mythril armor, and provides a set bonus when equipping a full set.

A full set of Mythril armor with the Mythril Greathelm provides the following bonuses:

• +39 defense
• +7% damage
• +11% opposing damage (+18% total)
• +10% critical strike chance
• +10% opposing critical strike chance (+20% total)
• +1 guard charge
• +1 slam charge
• +500 aggro

Equipping a full set will increase the player's opposing critical strike chance by an additional 10%, for a total of 30%.
