Verlia Of The Moon is a Pre-Hardmode Boss fought in the Cathedral inside the Ice Biome. She drops many essential items for crafting and completing quests. She's also the second boss that drops a Manifestation in the mod.

Spawn

Verlia is spawned by using a Moonflame Lantern at her shrine atop the Cathedral.

Behavior

When summoned Verlia has a dialogue sequence before using an attack that instantly kills the player if near Verlia

Verlia is made up of 3 Phases, with Phase 2 starting at 50% HP and Phase 3 starting when she's at 16% HP

When Verlia dies she has a unique animation where she dies in a lunar explosion

Attacks

Phase 1

Verlia summons a sigil, raising the moon for her before exploding it into various frost shots that instantly kill the player

Verlia shoots 2 frost sparks that home in onto the player before eventually dissipating

Verlia summons a sigil, shooting out various frost spirals

Verlia slashes before dashing at the player with a circle of slashes, similar to Fenix

Verlia summons a sigil, summoning 3 phantasmal sword enemies to attack the player, these swords can be killed or they can eventually despawn

Verlia loses her ability to summon the moon and her Clones, instead she now passively summons Ghost Chargers during the fight

Verlia improves her frost spark attack, now shooting 3 sparks in rapid succession

Verlia continuously teleports to get close to the player, until summoning violas to create barriers of Music Notes

Phase 3

Verlia summons a massive orbital laser, frost spirals from her first phase shoot out from this laser

Verlia summons various lingering crosses that eventually quickly turn into large frost bolts
