The Maelstrom is a Pre-Hardmode Melee Weapon. It swings a greatsword out that gives some small knockback to the player on each hit. On each fifth swing, the greatsword spins around the player, sending out five homing projectiles. It can also be turned into a Sirestias Token to be used in Class Swapping.
Obtaining
The Maelstrom is obtained by turning in the first Completion Idol to Sirestias.
Notes
While it says the weapon does 32 damage, in use it does much more. With each swing and projectile dealing around 90 damage, and each fifth swing dealing over 150.
