The Slimy Shield is a Pre-Hardmode shield accessory exclusive to Eternity Mode. It is always dropped by King Slime. When equipped, it grants immunity to the Slimed debuff and 15% increased fall speed. Whenever the player lands on the ground, 3 Slime Balls will fall from the sky to the location of the cursor. These slime balls have a base damage of 8 which scales with melee damage, and inflict Slimed and Oiled for 4 seconds.
