The Pumpking's Cape is a Hardmode accessory exclusive to Eternity Mode. It has 20% chance to be dropped by Pumpkings. When equipped, it grants immunity to the Living Wasteland debuff and increases damage and critical strike chance by 5%.
Pressing the ⚷ Open / Activate button will cause the character to guard for the next attack. While guarding, the player creates a Rotting aura. When timed correctly in a 10 frame window, just before taking a hit, the enemy's attack will be parried. Parrying an enemy's attack will block up to 200 damage from the attack, heal the player for the blocked damage and launch 30 Flaming Scythes from the player. Flaming Scythes deal damage equal to the damage blocked by the parry. The parry has a 6 second cooldown.

- The parry window and cooldown can be changed by equipping Silver Enchantment to 0.33 seconds and 1.67 seconds respectively.
Trivia
- During the parry window, the character equipment has a glowing yellow-orange coloring similar to Pixie Dye.
