The Platinum Heart is a Miscellaneous item that replaces dropped hearts with a 15*3/20 (15%) chance when the Ethereal Heart, Heart of the Golem, or Soul of the Golem are equipped. When picked up, it heals 50 health, 57 heath with the Heartsick Potion, or 60 health with the Heartsick Elixir.
