Iridium Ore is a pre-Hardmode ore, which spawns in the Underground and Cavern layers, or can be dropped by Desert Beak. Its primary use is to make Iridium Bars, which can be used to create the Iridium tier of equipment. The equivalents of Iridium Ore are Rhodium and Osmium Ore, which will sometimes replace Iridium in a world.
