Blast Shards are a Hardmode crafting material. They are an upgrade to Fire Shards, crafted by combining them with Living Fire Blocks at a Mythril/Orichalcum/Naquadah Anvil. They can be placed on all sides of blocks as a decorative tile.

Blast Shards can be upgraded into Element Shards by combining them with 3 of every upgraded Elemental Shard.
