Ancient armor is a Hardmode armor consisting of the Ancient Headpiece, Ancient Bodyplate, and the Ancient Leggings.

A full set of Ancient armor provides the following benefits:

  • +90 defense
  • +23% damage
  • +6% crit chance
  • Enemies are more likely to target the player
  • +10% summon knockback
  • +6 minion slots
  • +100 mana
  • Ancient costs 50% less mana.
  • Double tapping ▼ Down will give the player 15% increased ranged damage, 10% ranged crit chance, 6% ranged crit damage, decreases max ranged crit chance by 15%, damage reduction by 75%, defense by half, and ranged weapons will create a Sandy Explosion on hit.
  • True melee weapons have a 10*1/10 (10%) chance to give the player 2 seconds of immunity frames.
